MONK FRYSTON HALL HOTEL - WEDDING INFORMATION

We are a small traditional hotel dating back to the 17th Century and we offer a personalised wedding service for your special day. The following are some details which may help you with your plans.

The Haddon Room:
This is the only room available for a Civil Ceremony and Wedding Reception and can be booked from 12.00noon through until 11.45p.m.

The Rutland Room Bar:
This is adjacent to the Haddon Room and leads onto the Terrace and Gardens. This will be available throughout your day until 11.45p.m.

Friday & Saturday Weddings we cater for the following:
Minimum Numbers of 45 to Maximum of 58 for sit down meal.
Minimum Numbers of 45 to Maximum 70 for an evening reception
For smaller weddings we would be happy to discuss weekday availability.
We are sorry but we cannot cater for Weddings on a Sunday.

Civil Wedding Ceremony:
Monk Fryston Hall Hotel is licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies. The latest time for the Civil Ceremony we offer is 2.30p.m. We can offer you this facility in the following rooms:

Room Hire Charge for Civil Ceremonies:
Haddon Room (maximum of 58 guests) £250.00
An additional fee is payable to the Registrar for the cost of your marriage and license.

You will need to liaise with the hotel first and then the Registrar to ensure the date is Available for both before booking either service. Contact Superintendent Registrar for the Monk Fryston district - Tel: 01757 706590 (Selby)

For smaller weddings (up to15 guests) the Rutland Room is also licensed and the Room Hire charge is £150.00.

Menus
We offer a variety of 3 or 4 course menus currently priced from £25.50 per person. In addition we cater for special dietary requirements and children's menus.

Evening Reception
Evening Buffets Menus are available from £8.50 to £14.00 per person

Wines
We suggest an allowance of 5 glasses to the bottle and our House Wine is currently £13.50 per bottle.

Toasts to the Bride and Groom
We recommend a Sparkling Wine which is currently £19.25 per bottle or our House Champagne which is currently £32.50 per bottle. Again we allow 5 glasses to the bottle.
